As part of the celebration of His Majesty King Charles III’s coronation, the England Coast Path will be renamed ‘King Charles III England Coast Path’ following an unveiling tomorrow. The new National Trail will be fully walkable by the end of 2024, connecting communities across England. The King Charles III England Coast Path, which will be the longest managed coastal path in the world, will cover approximately 4,400 kilometers when completed. The next two sections of the King Charles III England Coast Path to launch are in Filey, North Yorkshire, and Crosby Beach, Liverpool – both opening tomorrow.

Here VisitEngland shares five King Charles III England Coast Path walking routes, each with a nearby castle to explore. These adventures along dramatic cliffs, smooth sands and historic piers take on a regal touch with experiences that include immersive tours of ancient history, glamping in castle grounds and exploring sub-tropical stately gardens.
