SWISS will offer its customers a completely new and more personalized ‘SWISS Senses’ flight experience from 2025. The centerpiece of the new customer product is a redesigned cabin for the airline’s long-haul fleet. SWISS First, SWISS Business and SWISS Economy will be completely redesigned, while also retaining the popular SWISS Premium Economy, which was introduced in 2022. SWISS will gradually install the new cabs in its long-haul fleet from 2025. The new Airbus A350-900s will be delivered with the new interior installed.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will offer its customers a completely new and more personalized ‘SWISS Senses’ flight experience from 2025. The centerpiece of the new customer product is a completely redesigned cabin for the airline’s long-haul fleet. SWISS today unveiled its new cabin interiors to the public.

“This is the most comprehensive cab refurbishment in our company history,” said SWISS Chief Executive Officer Dieter Vranckx. “As a premium airline, we want to take full account of our customers’ desire for more individuality. And with this very high-quality product we can continue to meet all our high ambitions.”

The totally redesigned long-haul cab features a timeless color scheme and top quality materials. The warm and muted tones such as burgundy, anthracite and beige give a special feeling of comfort and tranquility. The new concept also extends to SWISS’ very first suites, which will be offered in SWISS First and parts of SWISS Business. All seating classes will also feature new Human-Centric Lighting that helps reduce the effects of jet lag. A new state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system with larger screens and connectivity for the passenger’s personal devices will also be offered in all seating classes.

“With ‘SWISS Senses’, we are making our customers’ air travel an even more personalized and sensual experience,” added SWISS Chief Commercial Officer Tamur Goudarzi Pour. “With its great dedication to detail, our new long-haul cabin will provide our passengers with a special feeling of warmth and well-being – a cozy and comfortable but also functional environment in all our cabin classes.”

You can watch this short film about the new ‘SWISS Senses’ for more information:

SWISS First: privacy assured

The new SWISS First suites offer their guests total privacy with lockable sliding doors, a spacious personal wardrobe, a large sitting table, seat heating and cooling, a wireless charging station and a screen that is as wide as the suite itself. The cabin’s middle suite can also be configured for two people traveling together. The warm colors and wooden elements of the suites provide a strong feeling of comfort and tranquility in a top quality environment. An advanced and spacious new washroom has also been developed for the new SWISS First cabin. The facility is inspired by the famous spring in Vals in the canton of Graubünden: a slate black exterior and a green interior that refers to the spring’s fresh and cooling water.

SWISS Business: aisle access from any seat

The totally redesigned SWISS Business cab has been purposely designed to meet a wide range of needs and requirements. In addition to the ‘classic’ Business Class seats, the new cabin offers various other seating options, such as double seats for passengers traveling together. Selected seats can also be closed off with a sliding door. All new SWISS Business seats are equipped with seat heating and cooling and a wireless charging station. The high-quality materials of the cabin in burgundy red and anthracite create an extremely cozy and intimate atmosphere.

SWISS Premium Economy: keep tried and trusted

The highly popular SWISS Premium Economy Class with its greater seating comfort and superior cabin service remains an integral part of the new flying experience. SWISS was the first Lufthansa Group airline to introduce the new Premium Economy seat, which has set new standards in the industry with a width of 48 centimeters and a spacing of almost one metre.

SWISS Economy: optimal construction for greater seat spacing

The new SWISS Economy cabin will be equipped with new comfortable and functional seats. Thanks to their optimal construction, the seat distance has been increased. Each seat will also receive a more than 13-inch high-resolution screen and the expansive new in-flight entertainment system will help time fly by in the air. The new seats are also equipped with a storage compartment and a USB port, and offer extra comfort in the first rows.

The new cabin interiors will be installed from 2025, initially on the SWISS Airbus A330-300 fleet and later on the company’s Boeing 777-300ERs. The newly ordered Airbus A350-900s will be delivered with their new cabins already installed.
