Spain’s Foreign Minister, Jose Manuel Alparís, was in Ukraine
yesterday, where he met with President Zelensky and other senior officials to reaffirm Spain’s commitment and cooperation with Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
Spain recently contributed 30 ambulances and military aid packages, including HAWK and Aspide air defense systems, artillery and ammunition, to Ukraine. Spain is also one of the countries that led the complaint before the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, with a group of Spanish experts collaborating on investigations into war crimes and crimes against humanity traveling with the minister.
