SUMMARY: A day of wild momentum swings. India seemed to be taking control at 0-45 until Nathan Lyon worked his magic. The hosts slumped to 7-139, but bowling all-rounders Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin beat India to within a run of the lead. Australia then started their second innings aggressively, racing to stumps at 1-61.
MAN OF THE MOMENT: Nathan Lyon had his critics after a stunning performance in Nagpur. But the 35-year-old hit back with one of the best spells of his 117 Test career to go 5-67.
KEY MOMENTS: Virat Kohli and his army of fans were furious after the star Indian was handed off to Australian debutant Matt Kuhnemann. Kohli reviewed the decision but the third referee stayed on the pitch at the tough decision by Indian referee Nitin Menon.
