The Grand Theater of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat hosted a musical celebration for the famous Egyptian marimba player Nesma Abdel Aziz.
The celebration included a musical segment, during which the artist, Nesma Abdel Aziz, presented a collection of the most famous traditional and contemporary oriental compositions and songs, in addition to a group of western musical compositions, which won the admiration of the audience, who interacted with her with enthusiasm and harmony, making them sing the lyrics of the songs while playing.
Dr Ahmed Ghoneim, CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, said that this celebration comes within the framework of the cultural and artistic program that the museum organizes regularly.
Egyptians of all ages and societal groups in the museum and the heritage and civilization of their ancestors.
The CEO of the Museum Authority was keen to welcome the audience, among whom was former Yemeni President Ali Nasser, a number of former ministers and ambassadors of foreign countries in Egypt, in addition to a large number of celebrities and art and music lovers.
After the end of the ceremony, the museum’s management was keen to display a documentary film about the museum, which reviews its artistic and cultural activities and various events since its opening in April 2021. Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim also thanked Nestle, which supported the museum’s activities by sponsoring this celebration.
