Media Note: Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield delivers keynote address at Second Costa Rica Democracy Summit

Today, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, US Representative to the United Nations, is leading the US delegation to Costa Rica for the 2023 Summit for Democracy. At 4:30 p.m. EDT, Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield will deliver a livestreamed keynote address on strengthening democracy around the world and increasing youth participation in the democratic process. She will also make comments during the summit’s closing ceremony at 5:00 p.m. EDT. All Summit events will be broadcast live here.
