Ambassador Jürgen Scholz presented his credentials as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Egypt on Monday to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Ambassador Scholz expressed his deep appreciation for the long-standing and close relationship between Germany and Egypt and affirmed his readiness to continue and strengthen relations between the two countries. Germany and Egypt share a long-standing partnership in areas such as trade, culture, education, and development, and Germany and Egypt jointly strive to achieve peace and stability in the region.
On this occasion, Ambassador Scholz stated that he is honored to serve as Germany’s Ambassador to Egypt, as Egypt plays a pivotal role in achieving stability in the region and a leading role in various diplomatic and security policy initiatives.
He said that Egypt and Germany share strong and enduring ties, as “cooperation between the two countries is the foundation of our foreign policy. Together, we can strengthen the Egyptian-German partnership, which will contribute to achieving greater stability and prosperity in the region.”
It’s worth noting that Ambassador Scholz seeks to focus on strengthening diplomatic, economic, and cultural exchanges between the two countries, particularly cooperation in the various energy and education sectors.
