Fulbright Assistant for Foreign Language Teaching (FLTA)
The Fulbright FLTA program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. The Fulbright FLTA program is a nine month old, Non-degree course for English teachers or entry-level professionals (with no more than seven years of teaching experience). Candidates who are teachers of American Studies, Journalism and Media, and American/English Literature will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. Participants from Saudi Arabia serve as teaching assistants in Arabic for U.S. students at U.S. colleges and universities. They will have the opportunity to hone their teaching skills, improve their English language skills, and expand their knowledge of United States society and culture.
