Almost six months before the 19th Francophonie Summit, which France will host in Villers-Cotterêts on October 4, 2024, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs is launching a Francophonie Festival, unique in its form and multidisciplinary. Entitled ‘Remake the World’, a Francophonie capable of transforming the world will be celebrated for six months in France and abroad.
Through performances, conferences and debates, demonstrations and testimonies, the Festival de la francophonie will allow us to see and hear talented personalities from the five continents who, through their practices and their daily commitment, illustrate the theme chosen for the Villers-Cotterêts summit “Creating, innovating and entrepreneurship in French”.
Fueled by the contribution of 40 countries and 400 partners, the Festival of Francophonie will reach its climax during the “October Days”, organized at the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française, at the Gaîté lyrique, at Station F and at the Village of Francophonie .
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is proud to support this innovative festival, with the support of its cultural network, its operators and in collaboration with the Ministries of Culture, National Education and Youth and Higher Education and Research, as well as all partners.
