Demonstration Warning: US Embassy Copenhagen, Denmark (May 17, 2024)
Location: Copenhagen
Event: On Sunday, May 19, a group protesting the deaths of Palestinian civilians is planning a demonstration from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Østerbrogade between the areas of the Dag H restaurant and Østerport train station, including in front of the US Embassy. Local law enforcement expects 75 people to attend the demonstration. Copenhagen police will be present to monitor the situation. We continue to advise people to avoid demonstrations as they can be unpredictable and have the potential to become violent.
