Enhancing Bilateral Relations: Ambassador Al-Ansari works diligently to enhance and develop bilateral relations between Qatar and Egypt on various fronts. Relations between Egypt and Qatar have witnessed a significant positive transformation since the signing of the Al-Ula Agreement in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of 2021. This agreement, which brought together Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar, ended long-standing political disputes between the sisterly Arab states.
Since then, relations between Egypt and Qatar have noticeably improved, witnessing a process of rebuilding trust and bridging communication between the two countries. This was reflected in President Sisi’s visit to Doha last September and the Emir of Qatar’s visit to Cairo last November.
This positive shift has contributed to enhancing cooperation and official visits between officials from both countries, as well as launching joint cooperative projects in various fields, including economic, political, and cultural ones. These positive steps reflect the mutual desire of both parties to strengthen bilateral relations and work together towards enhancing stability and development in the region.
