Notice to U.S. Citizens: K-ETA is not required for entry into Korea from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024

The Government of the Republic of Korea announced that from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024, the Korean Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) will no longer be required for US citizens traveling to Korea for 90 days or less for business or tourism reasons visit.

US citizens visiting the Republic of Korea still need a visa for all other purposes, including employment, English language classes and stays longer than 90 days.
