Embassy for US citizens: Consular Services Day in Hanover (April 13)

The US Embassy in Berlin offers consular services in Hanover April 13th 2023 for US citizens who wish to renew their passports and/or obtain consular birth certificates abroad for their minor children born in Germany. Appointments take place in International School Region Hanover (Bruchmeisterallee 6, 30169 Hanover). There are time slots in between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Appointment numbers are limited and will be assigned after receipt of order. The deadline for appointment requests is April 3, 2023.

For each person requesting passport service:

• Full name:
• Birth date:
• The Issue and expiration dates of your most recent US passport (if applicable):

For each child applying for a Consular Birth Record (CRBA):

• Child’s full name:
• Birth date:
• Name and Date of Birth of US Parent:

With your appointment confirmation, you will receive detailed instructions on forms, fees, and photo requirements. The processing and delivery time for complete applications is approximately three weeks.
