Woman charged in alleged attempted murder of worker

A 35-year-old woman has been charged after the alleged attempted murder of a retail worker in Hobart in broad daylight.

The Harris Scarfe employee is in critical but stable condition in hospital following the incident at the Moonah store around noon on Friday February 10th.

A 13-year-old boy was charged the following day with attempted murder, aggravated armed robbery and assault.

Tasmanian police charged the woman with aggravated armed robbery on Friday. She is expected to appear in court on April 3.

Police thanked the public and business community for providing information and CCTV footage.

Another 15-year-old teenager was previously charged with aggravated armed robbery and assault.

Police are aware that video of the incident has been circulating on social media and have asked people not to circulate it.
