Do you dream of a tour of Europe in the summer? I always like to say I have two moods: summer in Europe or cozy holiday mode. Well, if you’re looking forward to summer in Europe, this is for you!

While it’s hard to narrow down the “best” destinations in Europe during the summer, as it really depends on your preferences and the things you’d like to do, I can certainly give you some suggestions.

Firstly, if you can travel during the shoulder months, such as May/June and September, you will encounter much less crowds. July and August are peak seasons, and I would say avoid August at all costs. Trust me, I visited Greece in August and while it was beautiful…it was PACKED.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the best summer destinations in Europe to visit!
