Once the app contacts the emergency center, your location will be sent to the emergency center along with the personal information stored in the app and a description of what’s going on. This makes it possible to respond even faster to your call.

Conditions in Iceland can be unusual, so we recommend the Safe Travel app to stay informed about road conditions while driving. The map displays warnings from the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration.
