She held the role of Director for Western Europe, the Western Balkans, and Turkey, serving as Chief Negotiator for the EU-facilitated Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue. In the Middle East, Eichhorst’s experience runs deep. From 2011 to 2015, she led the EU’s Delegation to Lebanon, focusing on strengthening ties during significant regional challenges.
