Grand Mufti Sheikh Nuruddin Khalik Nazar Extends Ramadan Greetings

Written by: Fatima Badawi

His Eminence, the Grand Mufti Sheikh Nuruddin Khalik Nazar, Head of the Muslim Affairs Administration of Uzbekistan, extends his congratulations to the Islamic nation on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. In his message of congratulations, he stated:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and his companions. Ramadan, the blessed month, has arrived – a month filled with divine mercies and heavenly blessings. It is an opportune time to adorn oneself with piety, noble morals, and virtuous conduct. It is a blessed month – a month of mercy, forgiveness from Allah the Almighty, and a month of pardon, tolerance, and generosity among people.

In Ramadan, Allah multiplies the rewards, forgives sins and mistakes, and erases wrongdoing for those who fast and stand in prayer with faith and anticipation. Muslims eagerly await the arrival of Ramadan as if welcoming a beloved friend after a year’s absence. They prepare for it by refining their character, increasing their obedience to Allah, observing voluntary fasting, and reconciling relationships.

On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and blessings, on behalf of myself and the Muslim community of Uzbekistan – the land of Imam Bukhari, to our Muslim brothers and sisters, elders, and youngsters, on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan. I ask Allah the Almighty to bestow His blessings and favor upon the Islamic nation everywhere, granting us peace, security, and stability during this noble month, and to bring it back to us in goodness, well-being, and prosperity.

I pray to Allah to grant you success in fully benefiting from this great month through obedience, drawing closer to Allah, abandoning bad habits, and adorning yourselves with virtues and noble morals. Wishing you all a blessed Ramadan.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
